Dr. Dwayne J. Albin, DVM

Dr. Albin is a full-time veterinarian at Animal Hospital of West Manheim. Dr. Albin graduated with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude) from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. He has a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentals. He is dedicated to staying current with the lastest advances in Veterinary Medicine. He was born and raised in Hanover, graduated from Southwestern High School, and currently resides in his hometown with his wife and two daughters. Dr. Albin has a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix named Toby, a Shih Tzu named Juno, as well as four cats, ducks, and chickens. When he isn't working he enjoys spending time with his family and running. 

Brandy and her handsome English Lab Creed a.k.a Dede.

Brandy has been with Animal Hospital of West Manheim since May 2000! She works as our Head Receptionist and the Practice Manager. She is known for her friendly, outgoing personality. She enjoys meeting all of our clients and furry patients. When not working she loves spending time with her son and husband. At home she has a cat named Kitty and two English Labs named Crew and Creed. 

Beth and her handsome Miniature Schnauzer Memphis

Beth works as a Veterinary Receptionist. She has worked in Veterinary Medicine since 2007.  In addition to Memphis, Beth and her husband have a Bernese Mountain Dog named Samson. When not working she enjoys spending time with her family and spending time at the beach. She has her own petsitting business as well. 

Linda is our part-time receptionist. She loves animals and has dogs, goats and horses on her farm. She is also passionate about DockDogs competitions.

Juliana graduated from the YTI Veterinary Technician program in 2015, and began working at AHWM.  She is a Certified Veterinary Technician and works full-time. In order to get her license she had to pass a comprehensive exam, and to maintain her license she goes to continuing education classes, which keep her up-to-date on different topics in her field. Her special interests include assiting with surgery, caring for hospitalized animals, and client education.

Autumn and her handsome Corgi mix Dallas

Autumn graduated from the YTI Veterinary Technician program in 2019. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician and works full-time. In order to get her license she had to pass a comprehensive exam, and to maintain her license she goes to continuing education classes, which keep her up-to-date on different topics in her field. She loves animals and enjoys all aspects of her career in Veterinary Medicine, especially assisting in surgery. 

Melanie with her loving and faithful companion Brody

Melanie works as a Veterinary Assistant. She is currently in school to get her Veterinary Technician degree. Melanie specializes in caring for and fostering pregnant dogs and cats, as well as neonatal puppies and kittens. 

Amy and her beautiful Collie Maggie 

Amy works as a Veterinary Assistant. She has many years experience and a B.S. in Biology. She loves being outdoors with her animals and plants on her farm, raising pigs and growing veggies. 

Jen and her sweet boy Coaly. 

Jen works as a Veterinary Assisant.  She has a masters in biology and over 10 years working with domestic and exotic animals!  Cats are by far her favorite to work with.  She enjoys spending lots of time outdoors and also with her husband and daughter. 

Lindsay and her adorable daughter Rose.  Lindsay works part time as a Veterinary Assistant. She loves to spend time with her daughter, son and husband.

Jacob with our mascot October.  Jacob recently joined our team in January, and we are so glad he did! He works as a veterinary assistant. He has been in the veterinary field for 8 years now. 

Mr. Octoberfest

Mr. Octoberfest is our resident hospital cat. He enjoys all aspects of his career, especially sitting on papers while staff are trying to read or write, demanding love and attention from everyone, and his afternoon naps.
